Blogging is becoming increasingly popular.

 It seems that many of us still can’t resist the tabloids latest celebrity gossip and regularly view celeb blogs.

To be honest, it doesn’t interest me much.

Probably for the same reason that I have no interest in magazines that claim to be full of the latest scoops about the private lives of actors and musicians, only to have a brand new scoop the next week, being the opposite to whatever the original scoop was….follow?

This is one of the reasons I decided to leave behind my journalism career and concentrate on more personally rewarding and fulfilling writing ventures.

There are many amazingly enlightening and interesting blogs out there, written by Average Joes, which are filled with much more insight and relevant detail than will be found in the latest celeb gossip column.

Looking beyond the external glitz of what can seem to be an appealing lifestyle, I can’t help feeling sorry for what these celebrities have to endure.  

So Ill continue feeling sorry for them while at the same time continuing to not be interested in the slightest in whatever latest snippet of gossip the tabloid blogs are providing today.

Show me something sensible, useful and down to earth over glamorous gossip any day….
