For anyone who has an interest in finding content for their web-sites, the question of reasonable asking prices for article writing is bound to have come up. Some people charge ridiculously cheap rates, but then, of course, produce articles which are just as ridiculous to try and decipher. Others charge huge amounts of money for work which most intelligent people would look at with a critical eye and decide that they could write something which was almost as good for free! This wouldn’t be practical in most cases, but the thought is there. So what is one to do? It seems that the most sensible thing to do is to find a writer with reasonable rates, not ridiculously cheap or overly expensive. Find a writer who is willing to give you a sample of their writing, so that you can decide whether they are able to provide what it is that you are after. Once you find someone you are happy with, you can relax and get one with other things, knowing you have found someone who can produce quality work for you, saving you time, which is, after all, money….. |

For many web-masters, it can be difficult to find writers who can provide the content you need at the standard required. Many web-masters pay for articles, only to find that they end up having to pay someone else to re-write them, or even end up re-writing the articles themselves, because they are so poorly written. One tip to keep in mind when searching for a content writer is that if the price is too good to be true, the writing probably won’t be! Hiring a writer who can deliver quality articles first time around can save you time, anxiety and maybe even money –depending on the number of re-writes needed! If necessary, you can always ask for examples of the writers work, or ask the writer to deliver a small project, and then you can feel more confident when you need larger projects done. |

Sometimes it can be difficult for writers to actually put to paper what is going on in their heads. Sometimes it’s the infamous ‘writers block’, sometimes its just self-consciousness. Does anyone really care what you are writing about? Judging by the amount of new literature and writing in just about any form that is constantly being created and is also constantly sort after, the answer would have to be yes. However, even if no-one else cared to read it, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it shouldn’t be written. Writing is often a great stress reliever, as well as a terrific opportunity to learn more about yourself, so don’t be discouraged by caring about the opinion of others. Just write for you, and if others are able to benefit from your prose, then that can only be a bonus! |

I was recently discussing with a friend the pitfalls of modern journalism. One example of this is the way that most news is simply regenerated from someone else’s story. There is such pressure to find that “exclusive’ story that no-one else has, that it becomes necessary to twist the truth or make nothing into something, just to get that scoop. This was a major reason that I steered myself away from a full-time career in journalism. Journalism has lost credibility in the eyes of the public. This could be a great opportunity for aspiring writers to produce unique and truthful stories. People are ready for authentic news, rather than regenerated untruths. Honesty in writing is underrated, but will be appreciated. |

I’m feeling a little like Bridget Jones, sitting here writing my thoughts, but I know I’m not alone in wanting to make them available for public view! There are many people who are looking to start blogs or other types of writing ventures. Many people are just starting out and may be feeling a little overwhelmed at the prospect of where to begin. Take comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone. The many on-line tutorials on all different types of writing for on-line purposes, or any purposes, are a testament to this. Don’t be put off from your writing goals by being unsure of where to start. Take the plunge and just start writing, you never know where you might end up! http://alistapart.com/articles/writebetter http://www.writing.com/page/blog_writing/blog_writing.html |

I have been writing some articles for a client on SEO. During my research, my results kept showing the same thing. Plenty of content, with key word usage will help elevate your status among Google search engines most effectively. Constantly adding to and updating your content will ensure that you can maintain or grow in your rankings. Constantly developing technology still has not changed the basic dynamics of success with search engines, so keep that in mind when working out your next strategy in your marketing plan. Do not be afraid of growing slowly, only of standing still. -author unknown |
