Day One - The Beginning... 

Deciding to write my own little blog on the Article Princess web-site was a stirring thought, but seemed to me, to be just a little decadent. With limited hours in the day, could I really spare the time to indulge in my own little session of self-expression (surely I should be out there with my nose to the grindstone deliberating over my valued clients projects, right)?

 Somewhere along the way, there was an engaging debate with myself, battling over whether there was actually any time to spare verses all sorts of stimulating and creative arguments including gems such as “I would really like to do this” and “I would really, really like to do this”.

In the end, I have successfully justified it to myself by way of deciding that as a writer, I need to be able to connect with others, both readers and writers, creatively and personally.

 Despite my wariness in the display of voluntary vulnerability associated with blogging, opening another avenue of communications with my clients was something that I was excited about.

Without sounding like I’m getting too carried away, (writing a little blog is hardly a blazing act of extravagance, after all) it is, or at least it can be, a little personal. At least, I hope that this one will be.

At university, my studies of journalism taught me the art of minimization. The golden rule was to go straight to the facts.

What I hope to achieve here is a little expansion and exposure of all those things that my journalistic training has set aside, as well as an insight into the progress and direction of Article Princess as a whole.
